Membership Shipping and Handling
New and Reactivated Memberships - 4 weeks
Member cards and other member materials (National Trust Handbook & Magazine, Royal Oak Newsletter, program brochure etc) are sent via Media Mail, which can take up to 4 weeks, depending on where you reside.
Renewing Memberships (in the U.S.A.) - 3 weeks
Updated member cards are sent First Class Mail.
Rush Delivery (in the U.S.A.) - within 7 business days
- Your member cards and all other applicable materials are sent via Priority Mail.
- An additional $7.50 is applied to all RUSH membership orders.
- Rush Handling is available only for orders shipping within the United States.
- Rush Handling DOES NOT assume shipping via overnight or 2-day carrier. Please call 800-913-6565, ext. 205 to arrange for overnight courier service and payment.
- To order Rush Handling, select the RUSH option when making your purchase on the Purchase or Renew Membership page.
Joining Royal Oak at National Trust Properties
If possible, it is best to join Royal Oak here in the U.S. before your departure. However, you may join Royal Oak at any National Trust property that you visit. You will be given a temporary membership document for free admission into all National Trust properties open to the public, as well as a copy of the National Trust Handbook to guide your way.
A copy of your membership application is subsequently forwarded to Royal Oak so that we can mail you permanent member cards along with all of the other publications to which you are entitled; these materials are sent to you within 8 - 10 weeks of your initial membership purchase in the U.K.
When you join Royal Oak at a National Trust property, you should expect to pay National Trust rates in Pounds Sterling. Please be advised that these rates are substantially higher than Royal Oak prices.
International Delivery
A $15 surcharge will be applied to all memberships shipping outside the United States. This surcharge will not appear in the Web Store shopping cart; it will be added when your payment is processed by our office.
New and reactivated memberships are sent via Global Priority Mail. Typical delivery time is 10 business days; however, due to unpredictable delays in customs, we CANNOT GUARANTEE this delivery schedule.
