THE ROYAL SCOTSMAN
A journey aboard The Royal Scotsman takes guests to the heart of the Highlands,
through landscapes of towering, pine-clad mountains reflected in mirror-like lochs.
Dining on board is an exquisite experience. The menus reflect the many seasonal changes and the freshest, finest local produce is served. An extensive cellar offers a range of
fine wines expertly paired with meals and the open bar allows you to sample a wide array
of single malts. The sleeping cars with en suite bathrooms and showers are beautifully
fitted out in rich marquetry, providing a comfortable and intimate area to relax
and enjoy the stunning scenery of Scotland. Each night the train is stabled in a
quiet siding or station to assure you a good night’s sleep.

  • Three nights accommodation at the Scotsman Hotel, Edinburgh
  • Four nights compartment accommodations, with private bathroom and shower
    aboard the chartered Royal Scotsman train
  • In Edinburgh: breakfast daily, two lunches and one dinner.
    On the train: all meals, with fine wines and open bar
  • Enrichment program of lectures and special events
  • Escorted sightseeing by private motorcoach with entrance fees for all included visits
  • Airport / hotel / train group transfers
  • Gratuities to local guides and drivers; taxes, service and porterage

Optional St. Andrews Prelude Rates & Accommodations:
$1,795 per person, double occupancy ($775 single supplement)
Includes three nights accommodations at the Old Course Hotel, St. Andrews,
with breakfast daily and one dinner; two rounds of golf (at Duke’s Course, Jubilee Course,
Eden Course or New Course, subject to availability, using hotel’s complimentary shuttle
to/from the course). Please note: Equipment rentals/caddies and gratuities are not included.

Not Included in Rate:
International airfare; passport fees; customary train gratuities; golf equipment/caddies; personal items and expenses; airport transfers for those not on suggested group flights; excess baggage; trip insurance; optional St. Andrews prelude; any other items not specifically included.
