DESCRIPTION:Take a digital journey around the fabulous Isle of Wight with tour guide Rob Smith. The Isle of Wight is a few miles off the coast of Hampshire but a journey there feels like a step back in time with quaint thatched cottages and country lanes. On this online journey we’ll visit historic Carisbrooke Castle\, the National Trust Gardens at Mottistone\, and Brading’s Roman Villa\, with its wonderful mosaics. \nThe island has such a varied coastline\, it is  like England condensed into one small island. There are the majestic cliffs at the Needles so loved by Tennyson and strangely used in Britain’s space program. And the silent marshes of Newtown where the National Trust looks after the Old Town Hall that was at the heart of a political scandal. We will\, of course call in at Queen Victoria’s favourite vacation spot – Osbourne House.
