About the Event

The Royal Oak Foundation held its annual benefit celebrating the friendship and shared cultural heritage of Britain and America in New York City at the Lotos Club.

This year’s guest of honor was Laura Burlington, Countess of Burlington, the daughter-in-law of the Duke of Devonshire. In conversation with journalist, James Reginato, she discussed her family’s life at Lismore Castle in Ireland and their recent move to Chatsworth, one of Britain’s most spectacular and historic houses.

The evening was enjoyed by all and is always a wonderful chance to spend time in person with Royal Oak members and supporters.

An auction was held of priceless bespoke experiences in Britain including a stay on the Chatsworth Estate, a trip to London on Virgin Atlantic and a stay at the 5-star Kensington Hotel, a stay at the 5-star Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath with a private tour of Dyrham Park by a National Trust curator, among others.
