The Case Studies in New Classical & Traditional Design series explores the creation of contemporary classical and traditional architecture from the practitioner’s perspective.
In this session, George Saumarez Smith of ADAM Architecture will discuss his work designing modern English country houses, exploring how classical principles, natural materials, and adaptable plans create residences suited to today’s life. The presentation will be followed by a conversation with Mark Ferguson of Ferguson & Shamamian Architects and The Catholic University of America.
